Class search, inverted.
The site converts CU’s section meetings into room-time intervals, then excludes any room whose scheduled class overlaps your selected window.
Data source and limitations
Source: Public CU Boulder Class Search, Fall 2026 term code 2267. The site calls a structured JSON search endpoint at /api/?page=fose&route=search; section detail calls provide the room links used here.
Normalization: building code, room, weekday, start/end minutes, meeting date range, course code, title, and section. This snapshot contains 483 rooms across 50 non-residential Main Campus buildings with assigned times and public campus-map room links. East Campus buildings and residence halls are excluded. It was retrieved October 1, 2026.
Campus areas: the area groups are practical walking zones for this site, not official CU neighborhood boundaries. “Use my location” makes a custom selection of included buildings within roughly a five-minute walk and sorts the results nearest first, using approximate building centers from CU’s public campus GIS building layer. Your location is not stored or sent anywhere.
Limits: only published classes are represented. Ad hoc reservations, exams, events, maintenance, room access rules, schedule changes after the snapshot, and classes with incomplete room/time data are not captured. “No later class found” means none in this snapshot for that date.
